Karting Taster Session @ Xtreme Karting Edinburgh, 10/9/26. Meet at the Student Union Building at 1:30pm
Heriot-Watt Motorsports Society is running a karting taster session for anyone curious about getting involved with the society, no experience or commitment required.
The session takes place at Xtreme Karting Edinburgh on Wednesday 9th September, running from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. It's a full GP Race Event format: a timed practice session, two qualifying rounds, and a Grand Final with podium medals for the top three finishers.
We'll be meeting on campus, by the Student Union Building, at 1:30pm to travel to the venue together, and heading back once the sessions wrap up.
This is open to all Heriot-Watt students, whether you're interested in competing with us in the Scottish University Karting Championship (SUKC), the British University Karting Championship (BUKC), or even if you just fancy an afternoon of karting with a good crowd. Spots are limited to a maximum of 40, so sign up early to guarantee your place!
Drivers must be 16+ and a minimum height of 1.5m (Xtreme Karting venue requirement).
