Badminton Intermediate taster session in Sports Hall 2! If you have your own racket, please bring it. If you do not have one, they will be provided.

Come and join the Heriot-Watt Badminton Club! Whether it’s your first time holding a racquet or you’re a national-level player, there’s a place for you here. Our taster sessions are split into beginner, intermediate, and advanced so you can play at the right level from day one. Spaces are limited.
What session should I join?
Beginner session: For first-timers or anyone not yet confident keeping a rally going.
Intermediate session: For players who’ve played before and can rally consistently.
Advanced session: For players with a strong foundation—able to play and return a range of shots (smashes, drops, drives, net shots) and handle faster rallies.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a water botle and have the QR code you recieve when booking the session ready. We provide shuttles and rackets. Please bring your own racket it you have one.

Event policies
Footwear - Courts
All participants must wear appropriate footwear. Indoor trainers with non-marking soles must be worn at all times.
